about

Like A Tree is a ballad inspired by the Great American Song Book and it shows my love for my partner Andrea. I got inspiration from a photo of a tree that I took in Brighton.

lyrics

Like a Tree

We were two trees
Planted apart
But on the same field
My branches reached
reached for the sky
While yours had touched it

We fed on dreams
while the sun calmed our fears
and growing my roots far away
I crossed your way.

Since that day,
the old leaves went away
for coming all back wildly
Our strength blossomed again,
carrying new lymph with it.
